Not all 2015 models will be of the Final Edition type. In fact, there will only be 1,600 models available in the United States. To become a Final Edition model, Mitsubishi starts with a standard Evolution GSR trim and adds Bilstein shocks, Eibach springs, Brembo front brake rotors, dark-chrome-finished Enkei wheels, a black headliner, a black-painted roof, Final Edition badging, and red accent stitching on the shift knob, steering wheel, and seats.
And, perhaps the most desirable aspect about this special edition model is its power. It will give drivers a thrilling 303 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque from its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. That’s 12 horsepower more than standard models. Add in its standard Super All-Wheel Control and five-speed manual transmission and it becomes a road hungry performance machine.
